Coastal Bend Regional Park Foundation, Inc. is an established non-profit corporation with the sole goal and purpose of establishing a first rate and first of its kind forested park in South Texas in Nueces County, Texas.

FOUNDATION HISTORY

In 1994, a group of citizens in the Nueces County area realized that although the Coastal Bend has an abundance of scenic water views, beaches, sailing, boating, fishing, and rangeland hunting, the one attraction missing was a forested park with multiple venues.

The Foundation was established for the sole purpose of establishing a forested regional park, a land based project with trees, lakes, recreational camping with cabins, camping sites, gardens, statuary exhibits, jogging, biking and nature trails and an equestrian facility with riding lessons and trail riding.

While other cities in Texas and in other states currently have such facilities, this would be the first such park in the Coastal Bend and South Texas.
